National Capital Area Paralegal Association Honors Members

National Capital Area Paralegal Association (NCAPA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the paralegal profession, It was formed in 1974 by paralegals living or working in the District of Columbia, Suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia

NCAPA held its Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on November 18, 2009, at the National Press Club in Washington DC. It was at this event that the association recognized the outstanding contributions of its members through the year.

Tara Kim Eberhart, RP, outgoing President, received a special award in gratitutde of her leadership and dedication to NCAPA

Lisa Medoro received the award for Chair of the Year.

Erica Nantais was named Member of the Year.

Bettina Myers Received the award for Student of the year and Max Brandy RP received the 1009 Leadership Award.

aprille Sherman was the recipient of NCAPA’s Andrea Lupanze, RP, PACE Memorial Scholarship.
