Who Won the NALS Foundation March 2011 Grants and Why?
The winners of the NALS Foundation March 2011 grants were NALS of Greater and Seattle and NALS of Orange County.
NALS of Greater Seattle will be hosting a Court Day/Tech Talk combo on May 21, 2011. This program will provide a day of education – a chance for their chapter to provide members, non-members, and students in the legal profession an opportunity to learn about procedures of different courts, as well as an opportunity to ask questions regarding filing. The education will also include training in certain software applications and will give attendees a chance to gain further knowledge of computer applications used in the office.
NALS of Orange County will be hosting their annual spring seminar on April 30, 2011. Their spring seminar will be providing members of the legal community with education topics focusing on electronic filing, both in state and federal courts, and going green in the law office. They will be bringing in a speaker who will be speaking about Going Green and will be presenting the new NALS Law Office Green Guide as a handout.
